Welcome

Shelby

Hello and welcome to my webpage.
I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. My program concentration is Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials (SEMM) and I have a designated emphasis in Computational Science and Engineering with minors in statistics and risk analysis. I am currently working under the guidance of my advisor Professor Armen Der Kiureghian (UC-Berkeley) and co-advisor Dr. Daniel Straub (Technical University of Munich). My dissertation research relates to the development of a Bayesian Network framework for seismic infrastructure risk assessment and management.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/comments.
Thank you,
Michelle "Shelby" Bensi
